Aquastrap Shower and Bath Seal is an 'easy-fit' flexible, durable and waterproof up-stand seal that guarantees a waterproof joint between a wall and an adjacent ledge (e.g. Shower tray).
Aquastrap Shower and Bath Seal is supplied as a single roll which is comprised of a flexible EPDM up-stand, high tack adhesive and a sealant isolating membranes.
Once installed Aquastrap Shower and Bath Seal forms a continuous flexible up-stand around shower trays and baths. Aquastrap is an 'easy-fit' flexible, durable and waterproof up-stand seal that guarantees a waterproof joint between a wall and an adjacent ledge (e.g. Shower tray). Aquastrap is flexible enough to accommodate ledge/wall joint movement.
It is typically fitted to either a shower tray, bath or worktop that require a waterproof joint to be maintained.

To install the Aquastrap Shower and Bath Seal the upper release liner is removed and the exposed face progressively hung on the first side wall so the top edge of the butyl is level with the ledge. After completion of the hanging process, the lower release liner is removed and Aquastrap Shower and Bath Seal is permanently bonded to the first side wall. The remaining side walls are done in a similar fashion. This method allows installers the opportunity to remove and reposition Aquastrap in the event of an initial misalignment and thereafter progressively press out potential air pockets during the second fix bonding process.
